Course Outline

The entrance of the student in the Professional Master's Degree in Intellectual Property and Transfer of Technology for Innovation (ProfNit) is given by the National Access Examination, which consists of two steps: Step 1 - National Proof; Step 2 - Curricular Analysis.

The registration and conference of the documentation of the candidates classified in the National Access Examination are the exclusive responsibility of each Focal Point.

Each Focal Point shall disclose on its own website the necessary documentation, the period and place of enrollment, in accordance with the National Calendar defined by the National Academic Commission (CAN).

After the results of the National Access Examination have been announced, each classified candidate must go to the Focal Point chosen at the time of enrollment in the Exam to enroll as a graduate student of ProfNit in that Institution.

To carry out the registration of the approved and classified candidate, if he does not prove the completion of a higher degree, upon presentation of the respective diploma or provisional document, he will be disqualified from the contest, without the right to refund the registration fee, being called the next successful candidate and classified . Only holders of degrees obtained abroad will be accepted upon presentation of proof of revalidation of the undergraduate course, by official institutions and recognized by the MEC.

Students regularly enrolled in ProfNit at each Focal Point are part of this institution's graduate student body, which will issue the diploma for those who complete the course, fulfilling all the requirements in the Rules of Procedure.

All students must obey the norms of the Focal Point and the National ProfNit.

Subjects

The compulsory courses of ProfNit are offered nationally during the first two semesters of the course, in regular periods. The face-to-face activities of each discipline take place during the academic period, in the Focal Points campuses.

The schedules and locations of these activities are previously defined and disseminated by the Focal Point, for the students' ample knowledge when registering for the National Access Examination.

The holiday and long recess courses are optional, being taught on a face-to-face basis.

Your offer and schedule are previously proposed by each Focal Point to the CAN, so as to best adapt to the period of school vacations and long recesses in your region.

The CAN analyzes the lawsuit and deliberates on its approval, including it in the National Academic Calendar.

The offer must comply with the following general rules:

1. a) The classes will be given in modular system;
2. b) For each discipline, the minimum daily attendance must be obeyed, respecting the institutional norms of the Focal Point.

Each compulsory subject has a National Coordination, being optional for the elective / elective subjects.

The National Coordination of Discipline is composed of a holder and an alternate, chosen among the Institutional Responsible teachers for the discipline in the Institutional Academic Committee (CAI).

The National Discipline Coordination is responsible for the proper functioning of the discipline in the National Network as a whole and articulates with the National Academic Committee the elaboration or updating of the didactic material, including digital material and computer tools, and its distribution to the students and teachers. discipline, the National Assessment of the discipline, the Academic Calendar of the discipline, and other procedures that are necessary for the proper progress of the discipline.

The National Coordination of Discipline must submit to the CAN the National Assessment Calendar of discipline, the Pedagogical Workshop, and the management procedures and instruments.

The National Coordination of Discipline must organize at least one annual Pedagogical Workshop of its discipline and prepare its Report, referring it to the CAN.

Teachers

Each discipline of ProfNit has an Institutional Responsible teacher, member of the faculty of the respective Focal Point, designated by CAI.

The substitute of the teacher Institutional Responsible is the Coordinator of the CAI.

The Institutional Responsible teacher must respect and support the National Coordination of Discipline, putting into practice what is determined nationally.

The Institutional Responsible teacher is responsible for the proper functioning of all the activities of the discipline in his / her Institution, including the complete compliance of the menu, the academic assistance to the students in the classroom, the elaboration, application and correction of the local evaluations of the students performance, application of the National Assessment (AV2) of the discipline, and the attribution of the final concept.

The Institutional Responsible teacher should encourage that each syllabus content of the course be taught by the teacher with more experience in the subject.

For some specific contents of some classes, the Institutional Responsible teacher may invite members of the community with academic background and experience in aspects of Intellectual Property, or Technology Transfer, or the management of NITs or the management of Local Innovation Systems that is appropriate to the pedagogical objectives of PROFNIT, and should record this action in the Discipline Report.

Approval Criteria

The criteria of approval in the disciplines, as well as the denominations of the concepts emitted are the responsibility of the Institutional Academic Committee. The evaluation of the students in each discipline is the responsibility of the respective Institutional Responsible teacher, respecting the rules of the Focal Point and ProfNit.

The Evaluation of PROFNIT subjects, whether compulsory or elective, has at least two notes. The student's academic performance assessment has two grades from zero to ten: AV1 and AV2. The final grade is calculated:

FINAL NOTE = (0.5 * AV1) + (0.5 * AV2)

The AV1 is worth 50% of the final grade and may include composition of various notes of activities recommended by pedagogical workshops, oral exams, group dynamics, exercises, lectures or other activities. The elaboration, application and correction of the instruments that generate the grade AV1 are the responsibility of the National Responsible for the discipline in the CAI.

The AV2 is worth 50% of the final grade and consists of the National Assessment prepared by the National Discipline Coordination and applied to the Focal Points by the Institutional Officer of the discipline, according to the models received and with the Schedule approved by the CAN.

The National Coordination of Discipline proposes to CAN the calendar of application of the AV2. The CAN inserts into the National Academic Calendar.

After completing AV2, when the student finishes, you can record your answer sheet by writing or taking pictures. The Questions Book will not be taken by the student and must be filed at the Focal Point's office until it is published on the ProfNit National website. The Questionnaire will be published between the end of AV2 and the deadline for releasing the template according to the National Academic Calendar.

The result of AV2 will be announced by total number of hits for each enrollment number.
